Polypropylene Film for Carry Handles

To enhance the comfort for carrying multi-packs (like e.g. Six-packs of PET-bottles), self adhesive carry handles with an insert in the grasp area are used.

The carry handle consists basically of a transparent film band with high tensile strength, which is one side adhesive coated. To neutralise the grasp area, paper is used for standard applications. This paper insert additionally serves as a carrier for product advertising and sales information (e.g. barcode). To enhance the grasp comfort further and to avoid the breaking of the insert edges during carrying, our monoaxially oriented foamed film PPFC-LBQ can applied instead of the paper insert.

Our tensilised Polypropylene film PP-HL fulfils the demanded characteristic – extremely high stress at low elongation and low haze – in an ideal way.

The typical stripe width is 25 mm.
