Polypropylene Film for Strapping Tapes

High-strength tapes are a typical application of monoaxially oriented (tensilised) Polypropylene films (MOPP). The high force absorption and the high elastic modulus at simultaneously low elongation prove to be particularly favourably with the following applications:

Pallet safeguarding, strapping of pallets with mixed or collected loading, bundling of profiles and pipes, grasp reinforcement of cardboard boxes, Closing of heavy packaging, Securing of heavy and heaviest packaging goods including coils, Transport locking of components in the electrical industry, as well as with lacquered and coated surfaces, as e.g. household appliances (white goods) and in the furnture industry.

MOPP Strapping tapes keep their efficiency in a wide temperature range. They are abrasion resistant, damp proof and tear proof.

Beyond that, the MOPP strapping tape is an ideal advertising medium, if printed with Logo or advertising slogan.
