Monoaxially oriented HDPE
A film with special characteristics
In comparison with a monoaxially oriented Polypropylene film a monoaxially oriented HDPE film differentiates very clearly in its profile of properties.
After the orientation of the film in machine direction it points itself already optically that this film is something special. The hazy Cast Film turns to a highly transparent film after the longitudinal stretching. But not only the optical properties are a special feature.
Because of its outstanding tear propagation resistance this film is in the best way suitable for extreme stress situations.
Also the paper like low restoring force gives that film excellent deadfold properties.
